The excellence of NIZZA DOCG
We are inside the production area of Nizza DOCG, a unique wine produced entirely with Barbera grapes in 18 communes around Nizza Monferrato.
The territory is characterized by wide and shallow valleys. All Nizza vineyards are located in the hills, at an altitude between 150 and 350 meters above sea level. The production of Nizza DOCG follows a disciplinary with very strict rules in order to maintain excellent quality standards of grapes and wines.
Low yields per hectare, cultivation in vineyards with the best exposure and a minimum aging period of 18 months: from these rules we obtain a well-structured and long-lived wine that best represents the essence of the territory.
