Monferrato Astigiano: a land to discover
Agliano Terme is a small village surrounded by gentle hills and vineyards. We are in a unique and suggestive territory, recognized worldwide as Unesco heritage of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato. Homeland of the production of Barbera d’Asti, Agliano Terme is one of the villages with the highest percentage of vineyards cultivated with this variety. Here the country tradition is at home and the enogastronomy is the fulcrum around which our daily life flows.
The excellence of NIZZA DOCG
We are inside the production area of Nizza DOCG, a unique wine produced entirely with Barbera grapes in 18 communes around Nizza Monferrato.
The territory is characterized by wide and shallow valleys. All Nizza vineyards are located in the hills, at an altitude between 150 and 350 meters above sea level. The production of Nizza DOCG follows a disciplinary with very strict rules in order to maintain excellent quality standards of grapes and wines.
Low yields per hectare, cultivation in vineyards with the best exposure and a minimum aging period of 18 months: from these rules we obtain a well-structured and long-lived wine that best represents the essence of the territory.
